Faculty members at GCU contribute to the academic development of students through teaching, mentoring, curriculum development, and participation in the life and mission of the University.

Theology and Ministry

• Biblical Studies — Old Testament, New Testament, and related fields

• Systematic Theology

• Practical Theology

• Historical Theology / Church History

• Missiology and Intercultural Studies

• Christian Ethics

• Pastoral Ministry and Leadership

• Christian Education and Spiritual Formation

General Education

GCU also welcomes qualified faculty in general education disciplines that support the University’s undergraduate programs, including:

• Humanities and the Arts

• Natural and Information Sciences and Mathematics

• Social and Behavioral Sciences

• Languages — Greek, Korean, Chinese, German, Spanish, and related fields

Faculty may be considered for teaching individual courses or for broader academic responsibilities, depending on program needs and the candidate’s qualifications.

• Appropriate academic qualifications and degrees for the position

• Expertise in their teaching or academic field

• Commitment to Christian higher education and theological scholarship
