Great Commission University representatives participate in the 2025 Annual Conference of accreditor TRACS, an outstanding opportunity for professional development and meeting leaders from diverse higher education institutions to build relationships and network.
GCU President Paul Foerster and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Deborah Im, greatly encouraged by GCU’s recent achievement of accreditation prior to the conference, are meeting a variety of representatives from Christian universities and related organizations which opens new perspectives and enables new friendships that help GCU to become more professional, enlarging its educational scope and grow as part of the network of institutions accredited by Tracs.
Several institutions and their representatives experience similar situations like GCU and can give precious advice on how to deal with challenges, use opportunities and discover resources for continued growth.
The conference also offers a number of dedicated professional workshops that focus on particular tasks and challenges that apply to Tracs accredited universities in the current educational situation. Insights gained from these workshops are a great resource for turning GCU in a more effectively operating and well connected institution.
The conference also gives opportunities to meet leaders and friends from Olivet’s school network- Olivet University, Harvest University, Jubilee University, who share experiences, prayers and encouragement with each other. GCU leaders are deeply thankful for the precious time at the Tracs conference that opens new ways and perspectives and helps GCU to be better established within the Christian higher education landscape and to fulfill its purpose with more efficiency.
